David Fox
Fractional CMO Brand, Go-to-Market and Growth Strategy

David Fox is a CMO and agency CEO who builds teams and strategies that drive growth.
For 27 years he’s run marketing and communications at global scale. He led Ogilvy across MENA and Australia, ran the BAT relationship across 44 markets, and launched the marketing behind the UAE’s first passenger rail network at Etihad Rail.
He’s turned around businesses. At Ogilvy Australia he collapsed eight P&Ls into one and delivered 21% revenue growth. Ogilvy Sydney became the number one culture in the global network. At Ogilvy MENA he led 500+ people across 10 countries and took the region to second largest in EMEA and top ten worldwide.
He’s also been the client. At Etihad Rail he owned group-wide brand, government and public messaging for a national infrastructure project. He knows what it takes to deliver for both sides of the table.
Today he works as a Fractional CMO for founders and leadership teams. He sets the go-to-market strategy, sharpens the brand proposition, builds the growth roadmap and stands up the teams and agencies to run it. His work has helped founders pitch investors and fund their expansion.
David is a Harvard Business School alum, a former Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia judge for Creative Effectiveness, and a MENA Top 15 CEO Power List name. He splits his time between Dubai, London and Sydney.
